Gift Cards and eGift Cards Terms and Conditions
Gift Cards and eGift Cards are fulfilled by Edge Vapes – a trading name of Guardian Edge Ltd, Brithdir, Rhydlewis, Llandysul, Ceredigion, SA44 5SN. Edge Vapes is the seller of the Gift Cards/eGift Cards on behalf of Guardian Edge Ltd (“Edge Vapes”) and all gift cards remain the property of Guardian Edge Ltd, Brithdir, Rhydlewis, Llandysul, Ceredigion, SA44 5SN.
Redemption of Gift Cards/eGift Cards
You can redeem the balance on a Gift Card/eGift Card to buy products on the Edge Vapes website in the UK. They cannot be used for purchases made on the web or through our call centre.
Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable
Gift Cards/eGift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash or credit.
Purchases and Balance
Purchases will be deducted until the balance reaches zero. Any remaining balance can be used for future purchases. You can add money to a Gift Card at any time in pounds sterling (£). The minimum amount required to activate a Gift Card is £5. The maximum balance you can add to a Gift Card is £1,000. The minimum value for an eGift Card is £10, with a maximum value of £250.
Returns and Refunds
Anything you buy with a Gift Card/eGift Card and later return to store in accordance with the Edge Vapes returns policy will be refunded to the Gift Card or a new Gift Card if you do not have the original; eGift Cards will be refunded to a physical gift card.
Payment and Order Processing
Cleared payment is required prior to the despatch of orders. Payment is taken automatically at the time of purchase by Edge Vapes. Your credit/debit card statement will read ‘Edge Vapes’. Edge Vapes reserves the right to decline any order without providing an explanation. Edge Vapes will not be given access to your credit/debit card details.
Fraud Prevention
For fraud prevention reasons, Edge Vapes is unable to accept business cheques to pay for or top up a Gift Card.
Delivery
Gift Cards ordered through this site will be sent by Edge Vapes to the delivery address stated on each individual order or as an E-Voucher to the email address provided upon order. Deliveries will be made using Royal Mail services. Gift Cards with a value of £50 or less will be sent by 1st class post. Gift Cards with a value between £50.01 and £99.99 will be sent by recorded delivery, and Gift Cards with a value of £100 or more will be sent through special delivery. Both recorded and special delivery require a signature on arrival.
Despatch and Delivery Times
Gift Cards will normally be despatched by Edge Vapes within 2 working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible, we will try to meet all delivery requirements, but neither Guardian Edge Ltd nor Edge Vapes shall be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges, or other expenses.
eGift Card Delivery
eGift Cards will be emailed to the recipient’s address either immediately or on the date that you have selected. To redeem an eGift Card, you can either print the eGift Card and present it to a service assistant at the Trade Counter, or display the eGift Card on a mobile phone or tablet device.
Expiry of Gift Cards
A Gift Card will expire if it has a zero balance on the card for a period of one year. Balances on Gift Cards/eGift Cards will expire after 5 years of consecutive non-use and any remaining balance will be deleted. A top-up, purchase, or balance enquiry is considered a use of the Gift Card. You can check the balance of a Gift Card at any Edge Vapes store in the UK. eGift Cards will expire after 5 years of consecutive non-use and any remaining balance will be deleted.
Risk and Title
Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery, and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Treat your Gift Card/eGift Card like cash; Edge Vapes will not replace it if it becomes lost, damaged, or stolen. Personal information on the holders of Gift Cards/eGift Cards is not retained and therefore, if a Gift Card/eGift Card is used without the consent of the Gift Card holder, or is lost, stolen, or damaged, neither Edge Vapes nor Guardian Edge Ltd can replace, refund, or reimburse the value on the Gift Card.
Liability and Responsibility
Edge Vapes is not directly linked to Edge Vapes and can take no responsibility for products and services offered by Edge Vapes. For the same reason, Guardian Edge Ltd shall not be responsible for services offered by Edge Vapes and its associated companies, including without limitation the collection and management of your credit card data and personal information which is collected, processed, and managed by Edge Vapes.
Discrepancies and Complaints
Gift Card quantities should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately. Edge Vapes cannot be held responsible for the shortage or loss of any gift cards not notified to us within 3 days of delivery.
Force Majeure
Edge Vapes cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include acts of God, trade disputes, governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
Misuse of the Gift Card Scheme
Edge Vapes may take any action it considers appropriate if it has reasonable grounds for believing you are misusing the Gift Card scheme. This may include withholding all or part of the value credited on the Gift Card/eGift Card.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Edge Vapes reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions for legal, security, or regulatory reasons or suspend or discontinue the Gift Card scheme. If the Gift Card scheme is discontinued, Edge Vapes will give Gift Card/eGift Card holders reasonable notice through its trade counters and https://edgevapes.co.uk, and a reasonable period to use any remaining balance on the Gift Card/eGift Card.
Discounts and Promotions
Gift Cards/eGift Cards cannot be purchased in conjunction with any applicable discount card or other promotion.
Standard Terms and Conditions
